The charismatic front man of the Doors, Mr. Mojo Risin’, was also a more than useful poet, writer and filmmaker, before his untimely death, ironically taking time out from his ‘rock ‘n roll’ lifestyle, in Paris aged just 27yrs.
Mr Morrison surely ‘lit a fire’ with his first single and continued to ‘ride out the storm’ with his last, amongst the many quotes attributed to him are ‘A friend is someone who gives you total freedom to be yourself’ and ‘This is the strangest life I’ve ever known’.
